Rumors of a Uncomplete-Life 2 remaster and a God of War PC port started distributive on Mon after the contents of an Nvidia database leaked. Wear't stupefy too excited, though: Nvidia says the titles were just questioning entries for "internal tracking and examination."

The database contains a lean of games and applications maintained away the developers of GeForce Now, Nvidia's cloud streaming platform. Software developer Ighor July figured unconscious how to assure everything in the database, including stuff that wasn't meant for public wasting disease, bu by requesting the entropy with a proxy host. At the end of a blog mail about his method, he shows that He proven to alert Nvidia about the issue before publication his findings, but apparently got no response.

"Nvidia is aware of an wildcat publicised game list, with both free and/or speculative titles, used single for internal tracking and examination," the company aforesaid in a statement sent to PC Gamer along Monday. "Inclusion on the inclination is neither confirmation nor an announcement of whatever game. Nvidia took present action to remove access to the inclination. No secret game builds operating theatre personal information were exposed."

Piece Nvidia didn't excuse what the entries are used for, IT's apt that developers attention deficit hyperactivity disorder artificial entries to test features, such as UI or functionality. Something like the PS4-exclusive God of War could eventually come to PC (it seems more likely than of all time), but in this instance, information technology might have just been a fancied entry for testing purposes.

A recent Reddit mail service compiled a list of the database entries exposed in the leak. Among them are the aforementioned PS5 games also as entries like Titanfall 3, Resident Evil 4 Remaking, and Monster Hunter 6.

As for Uncomplete-Life 2 Remastered, other launching in the database, we've asked Valve whether or not it means anything, but haven't heard back. Don't learn overmuch into that: Whether or not Valve responds to questions has not historically indicated anything at all. Reasonable Valve being Valve.

New Super Mario Bros Wii is too traded on Ighor's blog, and unless we've flipped to a bizarro world where the Canucks are going to win the Stanley Cupful future year and Nintendo puts games on PC, we'atomic number 75 pretty sure Nvidia's telling the Truth all but it being meaningless. (Although Nintendo did erstwhile mate with Nvidia to put games connected the Nvidia Carapace in China, weirdly.)

IT's hard to know whether every single game in the list is pure Nvidia engineer fable, or if whatever of them are legit. There have been reports of games like Resident Malign 4 Remake and a novel BioShock being in development, though Nvidia employees could conceivably have ready-made those entries while knowing just as very much as we do.
